Here at The Nail & Beauty Lounge we are always trying to improve the standard of education to stay at the forefront of the nail industry, ensuring the most current knowledge for our students before they hit the industry as nail technicians.
We have developed a training programme that guides the student and helps to develop the necessary skills, both online and in-house. The structure of the training programme is built not just around instruction given from the educator, but a balance of input between both the student and educator. Time spent at home practising the necessary practical techniques after in-house training and online theory is the modern solution to becoming a more successful nail technician.
How long is the course? 4 days practical plus online and pre-course study. Practical homework will be set between in-salon lessons and you will submit a portfolio of your work.
How much is the course? £620 (Group Teach) £780 (Solo Teach)
You will need to have completed all modules of your online theory training prior to the practical in-house training. We are on hand to guide you through this, should you need help.

16 animated and highly visual lessons in 3 Masterclasses, designed to help you understand the subjects of Anatomy, Product Chemistry and Health and Safety and gain the Essential Nail Professional Diploma.
To date, we are the ONLY training provider on the Fylde Coast offering access to this.
What will I learn on the course and how does it all work?
After payment is made in full, you will be enrolled on the Nail Knowledge course and complete your modules online. Once completed, you’re all set for your practical training where you will work on a model in the salon. You will learn to safely apply a full set of acrylic nails on Day 1.
At home you will do AT LEAST 10 sets of nails and submit photos for feedback before joining us on Day 2 where you will learn to maintain and safely remove nail enhancements and we will cover troubleshooting.
You will then complete at least 5 refills at home, sending photos for feedback and guidance.
Day 3 is to brush up on your new skills and ask questions.
Day 4 is assessment day, when you will be invited into the salon with your model and you will complete a full set of nail enhancements on 1 hand and a refill/rebalance service on the other. Your certificate will be awarded on successful completion.

Is there any other important information I need to know?
For any student that feels that they require additional support we also offer an in-salon support day. This is not exclusive time with the tutor but does provide invaluable access to fully trained nail technicians and also the experience of working within a successful salon.
How do I book my course?
Payment in full can be made by Paypal or Debit/Credit Card. You will then receive confirmation and access to your interactive online training, plus your training manual by email for your pre-course study.
