Our Gel Polish Course has been designed so that you get access to all the most up-to-date industry education PLUS unrivalled practical teaching in-salon.
We have developed a training programme that guides the student and helps to develop the necessary skills, both online and in-house. The structure of the training programme is built not just around instruction given from the educator, but a balance of input between both the student and educator. Time spent at home practising the necessary practical techniques after in-house training and online theory is the modern solution to becoming a more successful nail technician.
How long is the course? 1 day practical training plus online and pre-course study. Practical homework will be set and you will submit a portfolio of your work.
How much is the course? £610
You will need to have completed all modules of your online theory training prior to the practical in-house training and we are on hand to guide you through this, should you need help.

What will I learn on the course and how does it all work?
After payment is made in full, you will be enrolled on the Nail Knowledge course and complete your modules online from your phone or laptop, whichever suits! Once completed, you’re all set for your practical training where you will work on a model in the salon. You will learn to safely apply and remove a full set of gel polish enhancements. You will learn to apply a coloured polish, add additives to your gel manicure and you will learn our unique French Polish application which won Julie every manicure competition she ever entered! Its fast, simple and it won’t take you an age to perfect!
At home you will do AT LEAST 5 sets of gel polished nails and submit photos for feedback. You will then be invited back for a skill enhancement course where we will iron out any problems you may be having and learn more advanced techniques.

Do I need a model for this course? You will be informed prior to training date. If you do need a model, they must not be wearing nail extensions or gel polish.
Is there any other important information I need to know?
For any student that feels that they require additional support we also offer an in-salon support day. This is not exclusive time with the tutor but does provide invaluable access to fully trained nail technicians and also the experience of working within a real life salon.
